OnePlus has officially confirmed the rumors surrounding a new OnePlus phone. This upcoming phone will not be part of any of the company’s existing lineups and will have its own name.
The OnePlus Ace will go on sale in China on April 21. A teaser poster reveals the phone’s design, which confirms the rumor.
According to rumors, the OnePlus Ace will be nothing more than a rebranded Realme GT Neo 3, as evidenced by the matching design. The main camera has the same layout, with a large primary sensor above two secondary lenses and an LED flash. Under the camera setup, the rear panel has a dual-tone design.
Other images have revealed that there will be no alert slider on the left slide, which is standard on all OnePlus phones. The phone will be available in two colors: black and blue.
We already know the hardware for the OnePlus Ace because it is a rebranded Realme GT Neo 3. The phone will be powered by MediaTek’s recently released high-end SoC, the Density 8100 SoC. The screen will be an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 10-bit colors.
A 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens will comprise the triple camera setup. A 16MP sensor will be used for the selfie camera.
The phone’s standout feature, however, is its fast charging technology. The 5,000 mAh battery will support 150W fast charging, which is currently the fastest charging technology available. It can charge a battery from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes.
