Infinix has released yet another low-cost smartphone in the Indian market. The company has now launched in the region its 2022 refresh of the popular Hot 11, which comes with significant upgrades over previous generations.
Design & Display
The smartphone features a new design with a holographic aesthetic and flat edges around the body.
It has a 6.67-inch LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 60Hz, a peak brightness of 550 nits, and a color gamut of 114 percent sRGB. In addition, the display has a punch-hole cutout that houses the selfie camera. For authentication, the device employs a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Aurora green, Polar black, and Sunset Gold are the available colors.
Storage & Hardware
The Infinix Hot 11 2022 is powered by an octa-core UNISOC T610 chipset and a Mali G52 GPU. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
On the software front, it comes pre-installed with Android 11-based XOS 10 Lite.
On the downside, there is no USB Type C port on the bottom of the device, but there is a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It has a dual-camera setup on the back panel for photography, led by a 13MP primary lens. A 2MP depth sensor helps with this. On the other hand, an 8MP selfie camera is included for selfies and video calls.
Battery & Availability
The device is powered by a large 5,000 mAh battery pack that supports 10W charging.
The Infinix Hot 11 2022 is only available in one storage configuration (4/64GB) for $120. The new device will be available for purchase for the first time on April 22nd.
