In Japan, Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 10T. The phone shares the same name as a similar model released in India last year, but the two are very different. The device is equipped with a Qualcomm chipset and an updated design.
Design & Display
The 6.5-inch IPS LCD display on the Redmi Note 10T has a refresh rate of 90Hz and an FHD+ resolution. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the screen.
The phone has a punch-hole design on the front and a vertical module for the dual-camera unit on the back.
It is available in three different colors: black, green, and blue.
Internals & Storage
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset powers the device, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable via a MicroSD card slot.
The phone boots MIUI 13, which is based on Android 11 and can be updated to Android 12.
The dual-camera system is equipped with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
Battery & Pricing
The Redmi Note 10T comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The entry-level model costs $276.
