Mohammad Hasnain has changed his bowling action after receiving an ICC ban. While the fast bowler passed the test at a local laboratory, the ban will be lifted once the ICC has approved.
Mohammad Hasnain has worked hard to improve his bowling action since being banned from cricket by the ICC in February. In January, the fast bowler was reported by the umpires in the BBL. Testing revealed that his arm’s curve exceeded the 15-degree limit set by ICC.
The 22-year-old has successfully modified his action after the local laboratory declared it legal. PCB will now request that an official clearance test be performed in a certified laboratory by ICC. Mohammad Hasnain will be able to return to international cricket once he receives ICC approval.
Mohammad Hasnain was forced to withdraw from the seventh edition of the PSL a few months ago after his actions were deemed illegal during the domestic tournament. He was a member of the pace bowling unit for the Quetta Gladiators.
