Huawei released the Mate Xs nearly two years ago. The Mate Xs 2’s release date has finally been revealed by the company.
Huawei teased its upcoming flagship foldable smartphone, the Mate Xs 2, in a Weibo post, revealing that it will be available on April 28. The teaser had the tagline “Folding flagship and the latest product launch event” and the caption “The ‘face’ worth seeing” (Google translated).
According to the teaser, the Mate Xs successor may include a hinge mechanism. MyFixGuide recently discovered a Huawei 4G phone with model number PAL-AL00 on the Chinese MIIT Certification site, which could be the Mate Xs 2. According to the listing, the phone will be equipped with a Kirin 9000 chipset and will run HarmonyOS.
There are a few other details about the upcoming foldable smartphone. More information, however, will be available as the launch date approaches.
