In his county championship debut against Glamorgan, Pakistani left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah dismissed the world’s top Test batter Marnus Labuschagne for the second time. Shaheen also got his wicket for the seventh time in eight innings.
Shaheen Shah, representing Middlesex Cricket, sent the Australian batter to the pavilion when he was on eight runs. He got him LBW on 23 runs in the second inning.
Shaheen dismissed the right-hander three times in five innings during the recently concluded Pakistan-Australia series. Australia, on the other hand, won the series 1-0.
Shaheen Shah, who recently passed the 200-wicket mark, also dismissed Labuschagne twice during Pakistan’s 2019 tour to Australia, which the Kangaroos won 2-0.
Glamorgan’s batting collapse at Sophia Gardens was exacerbated by Labuschagne’s dismissal on Friday, leaving them at 6-104 at stumps, while Afridi has match figures of 4-61.
Shaheen Shah has been an important member of the Pakistan team since his debut in 2019. He has taken 95 wickets in 24 Test matches for Pakistan. Shah has 59 doors in 30 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 47 wickets in 40 T20 Internationals.
The left-arm pacer was a leading wicket-taker in the seventh season of the Pakistan Super League, taking 20 wickets in 13 innings and becoming the youngest PSL winning captain.
