This is What Huawei’s Next Foldable Phone will look like [Images] in 2022

Next week, Huawei will release a new foldable phone that will be an upgrade to the Mate Xs from 2020. The Mate Xs 2 will have the same outward folding design as the Mate Xs, and its appearance has already been revealed via leaked press images.

Geek Ceo, a Chinese tipster, shared the low-resolution images on Weibo. The Mate Xs 2 appears to be available in Black, White, and Purple colour options.

The images show that the design is similar to the original Mate Xs. It has the same main camera strip on the back of the phone, but this time there’s a punch-hole selfie camera in the display’s corner. According to the tip, the collection is protected by multiple buffer layers for durability.

The company may demonstrate a drop test to confirm the phone’s durability.

According to previous reports, the Mate Xs 2 will be powered by either last year’s flagship chips, the Kirin 9000 or the Snapdragon 888 5G. A 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto shooter will be included in the main camera setup. The 4,500 mAh battery will be able to charge at a rate of 66W.

Huawei has confirmed that the Mate Xs 2 will be available in China on April 28.
