FBR Creates New Directorate for Digital Invoicing and Analysis of Business Owners in 2022

It was Tuesday when the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) set up a new department called the Directorate General of Digital Invoicing and Analysis to make the whole supply chain work together. Manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers all work together.

The FBR sent out a notice about this on Tuesday. Section 30CA of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, says that a new Inland Revenue field called Directorate General of Digital Invoicing and Analysis, Islamabad, has been set up. Its headquarters are in Islamabad.

The Director-General of the Directorate General of Digital Invoicing and Analysis will report to the Chairman of the FBR through the Member (IR-Operations) of the FBR, the notice said.
