Xiaomi plans to add the Mix Fold 2 to its foldable phone line this year. This year’s Mix Fold is called the “Mix Fold 2,” which will be the same thing.
Xiaomi hasn’t officially said anything about the Mix Fold 2 yet, but thanks to Digital Chat Station, we have some early information. In this case, a tipster has told us that the upcoming foldable will have high-end features like a 2K screen and other things.
This is what a leak says about the Mix Fold 2. It will have a high refresh rate on top of an LED-backlit panel. A high screen-to-body ratio means it will fold inward like the previous generation, but it will have a bigger screen. The outer screen will be curved at the edges, and the whole thing will be light and thin, like the new Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Previous reports say that the Mix Fold 2 will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which will be on a high-end phone in 2022. It will have a 5,020 mAh battery that can be charged quickly with wires and wirelessly, and it will be able to do both. It will start up with Android 12 and MIUI 13 on top when it comes out of the box.
A 108MP main camera is also expected to be on the phone. There will also be a 13MP ultrawide camera, an 8MP telephoto lens, etc. The selfie camera that has a hole in it will have 20MP.
