Again, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is getting together for Hollywood’s most important night. The 94th Oscars will be held on March 27, 2022, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. They will be the most important awards show in the movie world.
So, even though we don’t know for sure who will win the night’s top prize, we do know how you can watch all of the awards shown on TV.
WHAT TIME DO THE OSCARS START?
EDT: The Academy Awards will begin at 8 p.m, and they will last until midnight. The red carpet pre-show, which starts at 6:30 p.m., will feature some of the night’s biggest stars arriving and doing interviews before the awards show starts, as well.
HOW TO WATCH THE OSCARS ON CABLE TV
They’ll be live on ABC. As long as you have a digital receiver, you should be able to watch your local ABC broadcast affiliate for free over the air. This receiver is likely built into your TV.
HOW TO STREAM THE OSCARS
YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and FuboTV are all streaming TV services with local broadcast channels. You can watch the Oscars on any of these services, as well. You can also watch the live broadcast on the ABC website if you have a pay-TV subscription for a streaming service or cable package. If you sign in with your credentials from that subscription, you can watch the live broadcast.
All of these options require a subscription. Most of them also offer free trials that let you try them out for a short time. There are usually only a few trials that you can use once, so you’ll have to decide if this Academy Award is what you want to spend your free money on.
